Update summary on Rebekah

Rebekah Gillian-Mei Hawthorne was born on Sunday 1st June at 7am, she was 7.7lb (3.384Kg)
Was a fairly quick labour / delivery, but we ended up staying in hospital for 4 days (just got back yesterday) as she has a different blood group to me and had really bad jaundice from birth - nearly at the point of needing a transfusion, but not quite thankfully - so she had to have blood tests every 6 hours to check she was ok and was put under light therapy.
Need to go back in the morning for another blood test to make sure her levels are ok and also to make sure she hasn't also become anaemic.
But we are home now, so visitors are welcome.
We hope to put some more pictures on soon.

Our Little Glow Worm

Sadly little Rebekah has not been able to come home just yet. She has a bit of jaundice (yellowness) which needs to be treated with light therapy. To begin with they place two small light blankets next to her skin, (under her clothes). The effect, as you can see in the pictures is to turn her into a little "glow worm"! (I think we have a nick-name already!)
